1. WHAT ARE COOKIES?

Cookies are small text files that websites store on the user's device (computer, tablet, smartphone) when visiting them. Alongside cookies there are similar technologies, such as browser local storage (localStorage), which we use for the same purposes and to which this policy also applies.

2. WHO IS RESPONSIBLE AND WHAT DOES THIS POLICY COVER?

The party responsible for the use of cookies is Edena Software S.L. (Tax ID: B27627462). For any questions related to this policy, you can contact us at [email protected].

This policy covers all Edena services:

- The website www.edena.es.

- The platform web application (app.edena.es).

- The Edena mobile application (iOS and Android).

3. COOKIES ON THE WEBSITE (www.edena.es)

3.1 Technical storage (necessary)

- edena-cookie-consent: record of your cookie decision (local storage; kept until you clear your browsing data). It does not require consent.

3.2 Analytics or measurement cookies (only with your consent)

We use Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager to measure traffic and improve the website. These cookies are only activated if you accept analytics in the cookie banner:

- _ga and _ga_*: Google Analytics (distinguishing users and sessions; duration: up to 2 years).

We do not use advertising or ad-profiling cookies: that category is always disabled.

4. STORAGE IN THE PLATFORM (app.edena.es)

4.1 Technical storage (necessary)

Essential for the service to work; no consent required:

- Authentication session: credentials managed by our identity provider to keep you securely signed in.

- Usage preferences: language, visual theme and active organization.

- edena_cookie_consent: record of your cookie decision.

- Error diagnostics (Sentry): technical data needed to detect faults and keep the service secure and stable. It is configured not to collect your IP address, your user identity or session cookies; it receives the technical stack trace of the error, the route where it occurred and the preceding actions. It is not used to analyse your behaviour or for advertising, and is processed on the basis of legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).

4.2 Product analytics and session recording (only with your consent)

We use Amplitude to understand how the platform is used and to improve it. It is only activated if you accept analytics in the platform's own banner: if you decline, nothing is installed and no data is sent. You can withdraw your consent at any time and collection stops immediately, session recording included.

- AMP_* and Amplitude local storage: device and session identifier (duration: up to 1 year).

With your consent, Amplitude receives the pages visited within the platform, interactions with buttons and links, the product actions you perform (for example, issuing an invoice), your internal user identifier, your role and your organization's identifier, as well as technical data about your device and browser.

Session recording: to diagnose usability problems we record a reconstruction of the navigation. It is configured at the most restrictive masking level available: all on-screen text is hidden and images, videos and profile photos are blocked, so the playback shows the structure of the page and the clicks, not the content.

We use no advertising or ad-profiling cookies on the platform: that category remains permanently disabled.

5. EDENA MOBILE APP

The mobile application uses neither cookies nor product analytics: it does not include Amplitude or session recording. It keeps in the device's local storage the technical data essential for it to work (user session and preferences), which is removed when you sign out or uninstall the application.

The application does include Sentry for error diagnostics, with the same restrictive configuration described in section 4.1: neither the IP address nor the user's identity is collected, and the data is processed in the European Union.

6. HOW CAN I MANAGE OR DISABLE COOKIES?

On your first visit to the website and the platform we show a banner where you can accept or reject non-essential cookies. Your choice is recorded and you can change it at any time by clearing your browsing data, which will make the notice appear again.

In addition, most browsers let you control cookies through their settings:

- Google Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies and other site data.

- Mozilla Firefox: Options > Privacy and security > Cookies and site data.

- Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Manage website data.

- Microsoft Edge: Settings > Privacy, search and services > Cookies.

Please note that disabling technical storage may prevent parts of the service from working.

7. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS

Google (Analytics and Tag Manager, on the website) and Amplitude (platform analytics and session recording) process data on servers located outside the European Economic Area, in the United States. In such cases, the transfer is covered by valid mechanisms under the GDPR, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. If you decline analytics, none of these transfers takes place.

Sentry, used for error diagnostics, processes data in its European region (Germany), so it does not involve an international transfer.

8. UPDATES TO THIS POLICY

Edena may update this Cookie Policy to adapt it to legislative changes, changes to the service or to the providers used. The "last updated" date always reflects the current version. When a change is significant, we will ask for your consent again.
