Subroles named by your school

Name it, let Ena translate it into the other languages and start from what the role already has or from nothing.

The menu follows the permissions

Whoever lacks a permission stops seeing that screen. The server checks it too, so it does more than hide the button.

Flexible for you, with limits for what is delicate

Every school runs its own way, so permissions adapt to the school.

Limits in plain sight

What a role can never hold is shown switched off, and you always know whether a role still has the Edena defaults.

What is delicate has a ceiling

Setting up roles or changing the plan stays with admins. Admins always have everything.

Each person gets their own alerts

The office, enrollment requests. Whoever runs the shop, the stock. Each alert reaches those with the permission turned on.

Questions about roles and permissions

The difference between a role and a subrole, and what always stays with admins.

What is the difference between a role and a subrole?
There are three base roles: admin, manager and teacher. Within manager and teacher you create subroles such as Office, Support or Substitute. What you turn on in a subrole applies to those with it, instead of the role's default.
Do I have to set it all up to start?
No. If you touch nothing, each role works with the Edena defaults. When you want to fine-tune, you change only what matters to you, and you can restore those values.
What can a manager or teacher never do?
Setting up roles and permissions, changing the plan and payment, removing admins and maintenance tasks stay with admins. A teacher also cannot hold what their role does not allow, and sees it switched off.
Does it only hide the button, or is the permission really enforced?
It is really enforced. The server checks each permission on each action, so someone without it cannot see that data or take that action even with a direct link.
In which languages does a subrole's name appear?
In Spanish, English and Catalan, the app's languages. You write it in one, Ena suggests the others and each person sees it in their own.
How do I move someone to another subrole?
From the subrole's list of people or from that person's record. The change applies to what they can see and do. If you delete a subrole, those who had it go back to the role's default.
Can I decide who receives each alert?
Yes. Alerts are permissions too: absenteeism risk, family comments, enrollment requests, low stock or billing results. You turn them on by role and by subrole.
Does it help with sensitive data?
Yes. Permissions that give access to delicate personal data or to money are marked as sensitive, such as health tags or SEPA mandates, and you can remove them from a role or a subrole.

The office closes the month without chasing families
